Surrounded by peaceful countryside, Cardwen Farm is tucked away in a tranquil rural setting on the outskirts of the village of Pelynt. The Owners have converted two adjacent barns beside their beautiful garden, both with a nesting-box in the roof space offering sanctuary to local owls. Guests are welcome to explore the garden, with its pretty stream and two duck ponds (please take care with children), and there is also a large grassy play-area. Each cottage has its own patio with steps leading up to the front door. The Eden Project is easily accessible via the Bodinnick Ferry at Fowey, Lanhydrock is just eight miles away, and The Lost Gardens of Heligan near Mevagissey await your discovery. The bustling, picturesque harbour at Looe and the historic smuggling village of Polperro are nearby, as are several sandy beaches and local golf courses. There is also ample hard-standing for a boat trailer and wireless broadband is available at both cottages, although due to the thickness of the stone walls reception is best near a window.

Benson’s Cottage’s open plan living-room, where garden views and exposed stone walls enhance the rustic feel, has two cosy sofas, a coal-effect electric fire, and an open archway into the sunny kitchen-area. Both bedrooms are downstairs. *A cot is not provided, please bring a travel cot (this fits in bedroom 2 only).

Steps to Lower Ground Floor Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bathroom with bath, fitted shower, WC and wash-basin. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Outside access to shared Outhouse with tumble-drier.
