Set in the rural heart of the Lizard peninsula, not far from the beautiful Helford River and just a ten minute drive from the child-friendly beach at Kennack Sands, Tretharrup lies a little way down the drive from Parc Sceba (1848). This lovely old Cornish farmhouse is extremely spacious yet warmly welcoming, with a cosy wood-burner in the comfortable sitting-room and a huge inglenook fireplace in the dining-room. One double bedroom and a bathroom – which includes a luxurious whirlpool bath as well as a separate shower – are downstairs, and upstairs two of the three beautifully furnished bedrooms are en suite. Immaculately presented, there is everything a family or group of friends could possibly need for a truly memorable holiday, with lots of space inside and a huge garden complete with a children’s trampoline, indoor games-room and a barbecue-area close to the house. Guests need hardly be aware of the farm itself as the garden is relatively private, but the Owners, who live in a separate part of the house, are always delighted to show guests around the farm – you may even be lucky and see some calves!
