Bosun’s Locker (1244)

St Mawes is a magical place to visit, a renowned sailing centre whose sheltered location makes it ideal for the local fishing boats and pleasure yachts that abound in summer. In winter, it is popular with those wishing to dine at one of the award-winning pubs or hotels with panoramic water views across the Carrick Roads. There is a good selection of shops and art galleries, and in season there are regular passenger ferries to Falmouth and across the Percuil River. Bosun’s Locker is tucked quietly away behind the seafront but within 50 yards walking distance of the harbour (see photograph). Accessed through a shared entrance hall and up a short flight of stairs, the light-filled apartment is comfortably furnished with the open plan living-room and the double bedroom looking out over the prettily planted terrace to the front, which catches the sun for most of the day. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
