Approached by crossing a little ford running across the lane from the pretty pond, this is the epitome of a rural retreat with only the Owners and their horses for close neighbours. Challamoor Cottage, which has a sitting-area in front, will suit anyone wanting to recharge their batteries and enjoy the wonderful moorland scenery. Guests can walk from the cottage on to the moor within minutes. Inside, the cottage is remarkably spacious and the main bedroom in particular is an enormous semi-circular room with its own wood-burner. The sitting-room is charming with a deep green Chesterfield sofa and comfortable armchairs with a warming wood-burner set in the stone and slate hearth. With a smaller second bedroom, Challamoor Cottage is ideal for friends or a couple, and will delight anyone who walks or rides. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please take care around livestock.
