This charming end of terrace cottage has a pretty, enclosed rear garden where birds and squirrels make themselves at home around the paved and gravelled terraces. There is a barbecue-area (well away from the thatch!) beside the sheltered patio. French doors lead into the spacious sitting/dining-room, where the multi-burner effect stove in the original inglenook fireplace warms the chilliest evenings. The well-equipped kitchen, ideal for informal meals, also opens onto the terrace. Upstairs, the master bedroom has sloping ceilings (tall people beware!) and there are two attractively decorated twin bedrooms and a bathroom. For less mobile guests, there is a facility for a single bed in the sitting-room and an easily accessible wet-room downstairs. With many houses and gardens to visit, three golf courses nearby, the John Leach Pottery, south Dorset’s beaches and the Jurassic Coast all within easy driving distance, this fascinating area will surely delight everyone.
