One of the oldest cottages in the charismatic fishing village of Coverack (see photograph), this lovely little thatched terraced cottage radiates charm and character. Uneven painted walls and low beams contrast with bright floral Cath Kidston fabrics, pine furnishings in warm shades enhancing a tranquil mood. Most rooms enjoy sea views, and the beach and enchanting harbour are but a short stroll away. A small front garden allows guests to watch the comings and goings of the village and, accessed by some steep steps (please take care with children), there is a raised enclosed rear garden where a quaint summer-house serves as a children’s playroom or alternative sitting-room, also providing a shower-room. Coverack, renowned as one of the most unspoilt villages in Cornwall, is within easy reach of the Lizard peninsula’s many other beauty spots, including the spectacular coastal footpath nearby. Summer or winter, Corner Cottage is a perfect base for exploring this utterly captivating area; a peaceful haven, and an absolute delight!
