Steeped in history, part of the house was built with prize money from Nelson’s battle of the Nile. Guests can stroll around the gardens or sit on the lawn, where a summer-house provides the ideal setting for al fresco dining. There is also a small lake (please take care with children), where a rowing boat enables guests to row to the central island. Sennen Cove, Porthcurno, St Ives and Marazion are a short drive away and all worth visiting.
