Rebecca Cottage is close to Dartmoor National Park, with over 350 square miles of heather-clad rocky tors, deep valleys and of course the ponies. Right in the heart of Chillaton, near the Devon/Cornwall border and within walking distance of the shop and the welcoming pub, this semi-detached cottage has an enclosed gravelled garden and sunny patio-area. Three steps lead to the front door and inside the sitting-room is lovely with leather sofas and a wood-burner – ideal for cooler months. However in the summer, the kitchen/dining-room has large glass doors leading to the patio-area and is probably where you will want to be. With all the mod-cons, this is a very attractive room with polished slate flooring and light oak units. Upstairs are three separate comfortable bedrooms. This is an excellent base to explore the area; bring the hiking boots, but also pack the sunscreen and beach towels, as Bude and other north Cornwall and Devon beaches are within easy reach by car. Please note the lower rent band does not apply for holidays beginning on or between 16 July to 30 September and is only applicable for parties of 4 + cot or less.
