Rubble Cottage is a stunning, Grade II Listed, 18th Century, terraced rubble cottage, set by the harbourside in the oldest street in Newlyn. This stylish and classic yet contemporary three-storey cottage has Italian limestone floors, neutral decor, luxurious bed linens and antique furnishings. The hall leads through to a pretty garden-room with sofas and a marble table, which in turn leads outside to the small rear slate-floored, enclosed terrace. The kitchen/diner has a cream Aga, a farmhouse table and the original larder. The cosy sitting-room has beautiful leather sofas which flank the wood-burner. On the first floor are two bedrooms and a striking family bathroom with a slipper bath and a large shower. Up a further flight of stairs is the spacious en suite master bedroom with a six foot bed and a large flat screen television. From here, there are glimpses of the sea and Mount’s Bay in the distance. Down the hill in the centre of the village there are galleries and grocery shops as well as some excellent pubs. A permit for the car park (300 yards distant) is provided.
