Newton Abbot is a bustling market town only a few miles from the south Devon coast or a half-hour drive from Dartmoor National Park. Climbing steeply out of the centre of the town you will find Abbots Halt perched up high above with some lovely southerly views over rolling countryside. Adjoining the Owners’ home, this single-storey property has plenty of space for two families (or one large one). The enormous sitting/dining-room, which has separate television and study areas, leads through large glass doors to a pretty patio and a conservatory/sun-room which can get hot in the summer. With a games-room (table-tennis, a small pool table, table-football and darts) and a private heated indoor swimming pool (please supervise children at all times), it is quite likely guests will not venture very far afield. However, should anyone wish to explore the area, there is a lovely walk across National Trust land to an inviting pub in the village of East Ogwell or a 20 minute stroll through fields to the centre of Newton Abbot. Wireless broadband access is available at this property. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
