This pretty detached house (see photograph), subject of many a postcard, has wonderful harbour views from every room and well furnished accommodation on three floors. The main living-room leads to the dining-area and a compact but fully equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms on the lower ground floor are separated by a large family bathroom, and doors lead onto the spacious terrace, where comfortable patio furniture invites you to relax and enjoy the nautical views; there is also a small courtyard garden. The top floor is virtually self-contained and has a twin bedroom, shower-room and sitting-room offering books, family games and a small kitchen-area with microwave and coffee machine, ideal for teenagers or those wishing for a degree of independence. Chy Lowen is in a quiet road less than a mile from the beaches, within short walking distance of the National Maritime Museum, yacht harbour, shops, restaurants, and bars. Several steps inside and out make the house unsuitable for toddlers, crawlers and those with limited mobility (although a baby up to six months old is welcome).
